Bear Bile Farms Are Being Phased Out in Vietnam

Abstract

In the last decade, bear bile farming has ended in nine of the sixty-three provinces and municipalities in Vietnam. There are now only seven provinces with more than 10 bears in bile farms. Animals Asia is nearing its goal of ending bear bile farming in the country.
