Herzog

Hal Herzog is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Western Carolina University. He has researched human-animal interactions for over three decades, has published over 100 research articles and book chapters, and received the Distinguished Scholar Award from the International Society for Anthrozoology in 2013. Dr. Herzog is the author of the 2010 book Some We Love, Some We Hate, Some We Eat: Why It’s So Hard To Think Straight About Animals. Since 2010, he has produced easy-to-read articles interpreting human-animal interactions research published in Psychology Today. These articles are also available in the WBI Studies Repository.
