Abstract
Successful animal advocacy relies on understanding legislative processes, making personalized and specific requests, and building strong relationships with lawmakers and staff. Forming diverse coalitions and framing issues around widely supported concerns like economics or public health can broaden appeal. Flexibility and strategic compromise are also key to long-term legislative success.
